This Historic Building In Tigre - "Tigre Art Museum" - Architectural Photography

A couple of photos that I shot from a water taxi on the Paraná River in Tigre in the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, about 20 miles north of the city of Buenos Aires in 2002.

This historic building opened en 1927 and housed the Tigre Hotel and Casino. At the time of these photos the building had been abandoned for many years but in 2006 it opened as the home of the Tigre Art Museum.




This photo from the www.tigre.gov.ar shows the building as it is today.
