The beauty and benefit of the 'Dandelion'...🌼
It is the beginning of the month of April and wild flowers dominate the landscape in 'Flanders', Belgium. Those that occur the most with a big lead are the daisy flowers and the dandelions.
They both have a chock full of nutrients and each has a whole list of medical properties (check my previous post for the daisy flower if you like :-) --> https://steemit.com/photocircle/@barber78/the-beauty-and-benefit-of-a-daisy-flower).
Although they are considered inferior weeds to many people, they have proven to be just the opposite of that. And if we are honest, they are a feast for the eyes. In terms of survival and adaptation to the environment, they certainly do not fall short, as they can find their way to the sun on the most impossible surfaces.

My grandma used to make a healthy salad from dandellion leaves.
Yes, I've read that it is used in salades. I will experiment the use of wild flowers in food and maybe I will post a review :-) great to hear from you!

It will be a while before we can pick dandelions here, winter and spring still haven't decided who's on first.
We use dandelions for tea, salads, and they make great wine.
