North American Friday: Xcanche Cenote, Yucatan
The Xcanche Cenote is located near the Maya ruins of Ek Balam and was one of my favourite cenotes in Yucatan. Especially impressive are the roots of the trees growing on the edge of the cenote that go down all the way to the water.

Great photo, I'm not sure if I want to walk along the pathway, swim in the water or swing from a root like Tarzan lol heck I want to do all of them!

A real masterpiece! 😊💕
Haha thanks :)
Awesome location looks like an incredible swimming spot. Is the water really deep? Looks like a great opportunity to jump in from the cliffs above
The cenotes are actually quite deep and connected by an underground river system! Jumping in from the cliffs would be fun, but if I remember correctly they put a ceiling on top; Since the rocks are not directly above the water, there would be a risk of someone hitting the rocks. I just jumped in from the rope, but this was fun as well!
