The Fallen Leaves & The Walls Of Indra Patra Fortress
Green leaves change into yellow and brown, drop themselves on the grass at the end of the rainy season in Indra Patra Fortress. Just like if they always ready to lose their beautiful leaves every season. I walked under the shadow of a big tree with the rustling leaves and dry branches. Indra Patra Fortress, in the east coast of Aceh Rayeuk is one of the historical places i ever visited few times. The walls are mute but may record all the important events of the history of Aceh year by year. If i could interview this big tree and these walls of this fortress, whether they would speak proudly and happily of every heroic memories, or would they be sad, to speak about the falling of the power, the lost of territory by the enemy, the dead of martyrs and the lost nation, it was bright and dark days that scratch the wounds very long and traumatic. But, these walls speak nothing or is it me who just can't hear them screaming in silent. Oh by the way can you see the blue Seulawah Mountain in the backround on first image? :) thats the most viewed mountain my eyes seeing since i was kid in Aceh.
