Experiencing Tokyo SKYTREE. Unforgettable experience, breathtaking scenes. Once in a lifetime!

Hey, hey, steemit friends and fellows. How are you?
Today I am sharing with you my experience visiting the tallest tower in the world - Tokyo SKYTREE and the second tallest structure in the world after the Burj Khalifa.

It was actually mu first experience travelling in the Tokyo subway on my own, without someone familiar with the Japanese language. The first enter was a bit shocking and I and the guys didn't know where exactly to head. But having in mind all the Metro lines and stations it was somehow expected.

Luckily, the Japanese authorities have learned their lesson and the station names are already written in English, not only in Japanese Kanji. The ticketing machines were also very helpful and the name of the station was only needed to print you a ticket. And of course some cash. Actually I found the Metro to be relatively cheap. For about $2 in every direction we traveled about 30-40 minutes. This is a lot of distance to be fair.

So... soon we arrived at Tokyo SKYTREE Metro station. The first information, that we had, was that going up to the observation deck would cost us 1030 JPY, which is about 10$, but arriving on the cash decks we found, that it was actually 2060 JPY up to the first observation deck (350m), and additional 1030 JPY to reach the 450m deck. Well... we didn't have to consider this a lot. After all it was a once in a lifetime experience (maybe... I really hope to manage to visit Tokyo SKYTREE again.). So... The tickets were arranged!

It's interesting, that every ticket was with a different SKYTREE photo. Anyone who wants to make a Tokyo SKYTREE ticket collection? I guess you will have to visit the place a couple of times.

I have to mention, that we are absolutely winners and totally hit the jackpot with the timing to visit the tower.
First, we were in Tokyo for three days and two of the days it was rainy all day long, and the day of our visit was totally free of clouds. We made a very quick decision in the first free time during the day, put the sneakers and made a quick start towards the Metro station.
Second... We hit the sunset when we "landed" on the 350 meters deck. Going out of the elevator, the sun starting to hide behind the horizon popped in our sight. Two minutes later we would have missed it!

We were actually 5 really lucky guys to see Tokyo from birds eye both in the daytime (late afternoon time) and night time with all the lights going on literally everywhere around us.
Tokyo from the SKYTREE is just a lot of buildings... Millions of buildings making a sea... Urban sea, or a kind of a concrete jungle, fading away in the horizon.
This endless metropolis was in front of our eyes in all his glory. And we were left speechless.

Then... the night have fallen and well... here's Tokyo with all the lights!

Well... maybe that's a very small part of the brutally big metropolis, but you can still get an impression of the glory.

The opposite elevation, towards the 0 level was totally sad experience for all of us, but sooner or later we were meant to go down and work on our Tokyo daily tasks. Anyway, this is going to be one of my greatest Tokyo experiences of all the time. Definitely worth a place in the top 3 ranking of all the places, I've ever been.

So, that's all, I'm not going to write anything more. Just leave you with the views above Japan.
See ya!
