Smartphonephotography natural rice fields
I am a young generation. The next generation of young people. As the young generation of the nation's successors, I am concerned about the condition of the rice fields in my homeland. The area of paddy fields is very wide, but not balanced with maximum yields. My country of Indonesia is currently being forgotten by foodstuffs from abroad, including Indonesia's staple food, namely rice. I think, being born and raised in an agricultural country, but needing to eat alone must "beg" with other countries that are not necessarily including an agricultural country like Indonesia.
Indonesia, which was once known as a farming country, is no longer the same as it used to be. Now my country has begun to move towards becoming an industrial country to prepare itself to become a member of the Tough Country Industry in 2025. This could happen, but industries in Indonesia must use agricultural products, because basically Indonesia is an agrarian country where the agricultural sector is the leader. Sector from all existing economic sectors.
Indonesia must maintain its agricultural characteristics. Because, the agricultural sector is the most absorbing economic sector. This is relevant to the size of the population and workforce in Indonesia which is quite large, in the field of agriculture can accommodate them and minimize poverty. If the development of the agricultural sector really happens and really, then rural disparity can be minimized and exacerbated urbanization.
In this picture, it appears that the rice field is soothing to the eyes. This rice field is included in rain-fed rice fields. Although airways have been made, the air does not flow because it is dry. If since the sudden, the rice fields are flooded. Rice production is also not optimal. Maximum production only reaches 11 sacks in the rainy season. Then, can the 11 sacks be sold on the market? Certainly not. For more information, contact us. The results of dozens of sacks are only enough for private consumption of farmers and families.
Seeing the rice fields that are so vast but not balanced with maximum results, makes the mind scream. This can't be left. Indonesia must return to being a food self-sufficient country. If we constantly "ask for food" with other countries, then the pride of the nation will disappear with time.
Stop forest damage! Stop land acquisition! Stop the conversion of the original land to the activities of the agricultural and plantation sectors that are changed for activities that drain and damage nature!

Nice photos.
Agriculture is a powerful way to keep people out of the cities. If agriculture begins to fail, this is the beginning of problems unless the new city people are able to do other work to earn enough to eat. We only have to look at the problems of Africa to see how this plays out.
Yes, in Indonesia, agriculture itself is a major source in the economic field
