Long Island City Skyline
People often talk of and talk photos of the NYC Skyline thinking of Manhattan, but the skyline views one can see from on Manhattan can also be very special to see especially as the sun is rising or setting, and that's what I will focus on in this post.

These shots are taken from Manhattan looking over the east river towards Long Island City as the sun was rising, with the warm colors in the sky and the light son in the building I think its an eye catching view, and in fact is one I can see out the window from my new work location, not from my desk where my view is looking up over manhattan but from the other sid eof the floor this is the view all be it from 13 floors up and not at ground level as this shot was taken.

THis shot is taken from Peter Detmold Park, and we are looking over Roosevelt Island towards Long Island City.

And another shot again looking over Roosevelt Island, there was a nice combination of early morning colors and interesting clouds that morning

Wow, those are some really nice photos. I think people that live or work in the city get the chance to see all of these things that tourists usually miss since they are so focused on the big attractions!

THis is Looking from Manhattan across the East River to What many know as Queens and Brooklyn

Well in the summer months we do get nice sunny days just perhaps not as often as Miami :)
