A Walk in the Woods - Across Canada, Day 6 of 92

Continuing my daily cross-Canada photo share from last autumn's epic roadtrip. On day 6 of 92!

Hiking along the Coastal Trail in Pukaskwa National Park, Ontario on a bright, sunny, promise-filled day. This was the first time I went hiking on the trip, and while I didn't go far, it was nice to stretch the legs along a trail that felt well-suited for elves and dwarves and even an adventurous hobbit or two!

I will be making a longer post about Pukaskwa later to share bonus images and some of my thoughts regarding this rather unexpectedly wonderful first visit to this park, which is nestled on the northeast shore of Lake Superior.

        Derek, I am loving the pictures and now really want to go to Pukaskwa National Park. You captured it so beautifully.
