This species which are normally referred to as wild boar go by the name Collard Peccary. Small and large herds freely roam the Sedona area and are commonly seen in residential neighborhoods as well as in the wild.

On a sunny afternoon following a winter storm this Javelina is seen foraging for food on the edge of a Juniper tree in beautiful Sedona Arizona USA.

This is an adult female which had a couple of youngsters with it. They show little in the way of fear for people. However being nocturnal they are mostly blind in the daylight and rely more on scent.

Yes we also have Cougar, Bobcat, coyote, bear, and deer. Thanks for asking.

Thanks, they always look well fed to me. They eat prickly pear cactus needles and all.
