North Idaho

I'm glad there are still quiet places like this one on this earth. I love being able to enjoy the fresh air and listen to the sounds of nature. I visit this little lake often and love watching it change with the seasons. If you look close on the photo below you can see a road cutting across the distant mountain just down from the peak. It's fun to stand at the lake and look up at the road, comparing the two views. I've driven my truck along that road numerous times, and it's fun to remember how it looked from up there as I stand below.

I edited these photos in Lightroom with Mastin Labs using the Portra 160 Preset. I shot these photos exactly one year ago.
