Weary Soul at Whisky Bay
Gorgeous light bathing the granite boulders at Whisky Bay in Wilsons Promontory National Park.
After returning from my long hike across the Prom, the last thing I wanted to do was walk some more. I was limping and wincing and just all over exhausted. I had strangely planned to climb Mount Oberon for sunset that evening but smartly decided against it. I opted instead for the short walk to Whisky Bay from the car park and spent the evening standing on soft sand with a cool Autumn breeze to relax my weary soul.

I know how much it can rain at the Prom! Camping in that weather is no fun

It was the same while we did the Great Ocean Road too which was a shame. I'll have to have another go some day! Through a different season. No camping like that would be the pits...

It's worth even a day trip to Tidal River. You'll never see it all in one go but once you go once, you'll want to go again and again
