It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Xmas... oh wait I mean Halloween.
I moved up here to Northern New Mexico in the Summer of 2017 from the Mississippi Gulf Coast. My first Winter was mild thank the Gods, but this year I fear that I won't be so lucky... and thank the Gods for that as well ;)
This one I took not long after driving the kids to the bus stop. It was snowing like crazy and I saw right away that I was going to have to do some work before any of the Sun's light was going to reach my batteries.
I took this one next. Where have my beautiful Sangre De Cristo's gone?
Finally the snow slacked up enough for me to clean off my panels. It was still snowing but only lightly. I took this one of a herd of cattle marching down my road looking for grass...
It's still snowing and has even picked up a little as I type this. I'm wondering what the total snowfall will be for the day?

Wow, I can't believe how much snow there is in NM at this time of the year.

Yes it snows a lot up here in the winter. I'm only about 30 minutes drive from Colorado and my home is at 7500 feet. This year I think we're in for a harsh winter. Last year our first snow wasn't until the last part of November. We've already had snow on the ground twice this year in October and it is rarely getting above 50 during the day now.
Yes I know, I've been following what's called the solar minimum if you've ever heard of that.
It's very depressing, unfortunately.
I hope you have a fireplace.

That snow is heavy out there, you must be prepared for this year, the video was great, I also saw another Nordic girl who went to call the Aurora of the north, they are amazing, you're a strong man, living that way can be hard and also can be great in a way. wish you the bests brother!

It can be hard but being more active is good for people. Plus it makes one very conscience of water and electric conservation, which is very important.
