View from Deception Pass (WA)
Recently I went with a couple friends to visit Deception Pass, which is a couple hours north of Seattle, WA. A friend was visiting from out of town, and we took them up to the Tulip Festival, then to Deception Pass and then down through Whidbey Island where we took the ferry back home. My friends seemed to enjoy the trip; it was the first time where I played tour guide on this route but another friend had taken me here before so I at least had some experience on this road.

A chipmunk who had scurried by
I wonder why it is called deception pass..? Do you know the answer ?
I believe the first European explorers were really frustrated when they were sailing around this area, getting confused by if they were near the island or the main land, so they gave it that name

Wat a squirrel or chipmunk were very funny in your pictures, this place is looks very nice for swiming or for practive a little fish, right.
