Daily PhotoFeed Round-Up #24

in #photofeed6 years ago

Hey y'all. I hope you enjoyed your Saturday as much as I (@jrue) did. Anyone get an shots today on your day off?

Since we have so many new followers, here is a quick reminder of who we are and what we are about. @photofeed is run by @cryptoctopus, @jrue, @aweber, and @yumyumseth.
Here's what you can expect to see on a regular basis from PhotoFeed:

  1. Up to 5 resteems every day showing off and rewarding the top content posted to #photofeed.
  2. A daily wrap up post highlighting and rewarding the 3 best photos from the previous day.
  3. 1 weekly post to congratulate our favorite photo of the week.

Steemauto seems to be functioning properly currently, so go join our curation trail and rack up those rewards!

If you know of any talented photographers that are not posting in #photofeed or are not on Steemit, let them know about this project!

1/2 of the SBD of this post goes to the great photographers featured below, and the other 1/2 currently is going towards increasing voting power so that we can give out greater rewards in the future!

Here are our favorite photos from yesterday:

From @blastik, a gorgeous gazelle:

This dreamy castle from @weberh8

A twisty iphone shot from @goroshkodo:

If you haven't heard of PhotoFeed (or even if you have), our goal is to promote and reward the best photography on Steemit.

Here's how you can get involved:

OK I am very confused... how is it that you have within 35 minutes over $100 on this blog??? What is the secret? If you have more Steem power will that help? I am new to this Steem and do not understand why I am getting pennies a post a day but yet people like you get hundreds... Is this site a scam?

Make $100 in 35 minutes? I wish. LOL

No, pennies are what you get at first, but after a month or so things start to really pick up. You need to create content and engage others in their content.

You get money for people voting for your stuff, but you also get money for curating (upvoting) other people's stuff. You can't upvote like crazy though. Keep it down to about 10 votes/day and you will get returns for your votes.

It's pennies at first, but it does pick up ... steem ... lol.

The best thing to do is find a way to regularly churn out quality content. Put out quality stuff once/day and you'll do great. Explore different ways to do that. Check out dtube and dlive. You may find that you're pretty good in front of a camera.

Thank so much for taking your time to reply! Very helpful! Another question... I have on Binance exchange over 300 in Steem coins.... should I transfer them to Steemit? Do half? Also whats the benefits of uping my balance in my Steempower?n I get more noticed? Do I lose Steem poer every time I upvote?

STEEM, STEEM power, and SBD should never be kept in an exchange IMHO. Instead, you should trade them from steemit to other currencies. It's preferable that you exchange STEEM only. If you have SBD, exchange it for STEEM in the market. Then sell that to an exchange. IMHO.

SP is important for getting going in STEEM. There are advantages disadvantages:

  1. You can't grow here without it. The more, the better
  2. SP locks you into the platform. It takes weeks to power down your SP into a currency you can then exchange.

So it's good to have some extra STEEM lying around and not put EVERYTHING into SP.

SP is not something you ever lose. It's your money, you just devote it to the platform. It's also the reason I would never invest my own money into steem. If I put my own money in, devote it to SP, then something goes sideways, I can't get it back because it takes weeks to power down.

Instead, I start with nothing and build from there.

I do not know what IMHO is... also... what does having steam power do? I thinking buying steem is very smart...steem will be 1000 dollars each within few years...I see steemit growing and being big makes steem worth more...

In my humble opinion (IMHO)...Steem power is influence. The higher your steem power, the better rewards for curation and for those you vote for. Curation rewards are given in SP, so you just get more and more. It's an exponential growth pattern. The more you have, the more you will get which is what you're facing now. You are just starting out and are in the negative. Everyone starts with 14.5 SP delegated to them, and it decreases until they eventually get 15 SP total. This mean, you will vote and create content until and not only will it seem like you're only getting pennies, it'll feel like you're not making any progress either until you reach 15 SP and that delegation is completely gone. At this point, you will finally feel your growth because each reward you get will increase over time. This is because of SP.

I'm sorry for what you're going through right now, but it's something that is just going to be for awhile. You can bear with it or you can send yourself 14.5 STEEM, power up, and then you will start feeling rewards. Unfortunately, you have to spend your own money to do this. So you rewards will always feel like you're still trying to overcome the 14.5 SP.

Further, if you choose to purchase SP, do not get it from an exchange. Only by Steem from exchanges and don't put them in your exchange wallet. Put them in your steemit wallet. Once you have steem in your steemit wallet, you can power up your SP. If you purchase SP from an exchange you have to pay fees for the SP as well as worry about the exchange rate. SP should be the same value as Steem, but I've found that exchanges do not go by that and you can sometimes lose money trying to buy SP from an exchange.

hopefully more beautiful this Saturday rather than saturday here ... oya ,, I need your guidance, if there is free time play play is to my post.

Great work of Art... Good to see how creative you are

I will try to buy new camera for my photography career.
