Riverine Bangladesh

Bangladesh is a riverine country. The rivers are the life of the country. Hundreds of bigger rivers are spread across the country like a net. In this country, the number of civilizations of the river is the number of civilizations. Thousands of cities and ports have been built on both sides of the river. Which of the rivers is small, which is big but every river is acknowledged by the self as its own contribution in specific areas.
Truly Bangladesh is so diversified. There are numerous rivers in this country. These rivers have made Sujla-Sufa, Crisp-Shyla in the motherland. So historically, the importance of the river with its heritage and cultural importance is immense. But today many rivers are victims of deadly pollution. Due to lack of water many rivers are dying. Therefore, by formulating a specific policy for protection of the river, the missing and the dead rivers will be rescued. Because the country will live if the river survives, the people of the country will survive.
