Glorious tree made cloud-like with puffy snow
There was a great snowstorm on a winter morning last year. In the afternoon, when it had subsided, I felt curious to see the nearby mountain, as it's awesome to see the ways in which the powerful forces of nature can affect our environment. The temperature was relatively warm, around 1°C, so the snow was quite watery, which made it stick to plants in this strange puffy manner. This tree was standing alone in the center of one of the summits, with snow attacking it from every direction, yet it stood still defiantly and gloriously.
The camera is a sony a330, with a (dirty) 9mm Rokinon fish-eye lens. This was on Mont-Royal, the mountain at the center of the city of Montreal.
