🍽️🍛#EatWithMe Heart's Desire Lunch for Mother’s Day | 为母亲节之点心午餐 (by @ace108)

On Saturday afternoon, took the opportunity to eat with my lady's parents after her mom’s blood test. Sort of an early Mother's Day lunch. I was going for volunteer work later where lunch was catered so I didn't plan on eating much. So, dim sum it would be and we just ordered from the desire of our hearts. We went to 212 Teochew Cuisine at Lorong 8 Toa Payoh which is more for something else other than dim sum.

星期六下午，在太太母亲验血后趁机一起和岳父母一起吃午餐。算提早吃母亲节一餐。 之后我将去做义工而那里也准备了我的午餐，所以我没有计划吃太多。 就去吃点心吧，随心而点。去了大巴窑八巷的李广记潮州菜馆。其实那里有其他菜肴比点心出名。

Suddenly, the lights came on and I notice they are quite nice. I think they turned it on because of the dark clouds outside.

突然间，灯亮起来才发现挺美的。我看是因为外面乌云弄成有点暗了。

You can book this private rooms for your dining but you need to spend minimum of $400

It didn’t cost much for a meal for mostly 3 people. I didn’t really count myself as one though I still have to pay for the tea.

这餐大多是三个人吃。我只一点不算多但还是要付茶钱不过还不算贵。

They gave us these vouchers and said they can be used from Mother’s day which was the next day. How smart.

走前还给我两张优惠卷。他们说母亲节开始可以用。挺会做生意的。

Overall, it’s not too expensive and not too bad. I shall return.
