Day's end at the beach (2) ~ in colour

As the man in the mirror said, "Another day has gone..."
And yes, all good things must come to an end
Fun days at the beach included
Playtime ends
The sea has gone far out... as the tide is low
The boats are in, pulled up high
Silhouettes and long shadows
Sun so low
Light turns to gold
Sun shimmers, reflecting off the sea
Day is done

I don't remember when I was at the seaside last...
But it felt good feeling the sea breezes on my face
Watching the last of the children, and adults having one last play before coming in for the day
The boats with impressive outriggers were pulled up shore
Made for a fetching sight in the golden light

Look towards the sun, and I catch a shot with silhouettes of the trees along the beach
Bits of rock and seaweed left by the tide, litter the sand
Patterns and lines on the sand as the tide flowed out to sea

---

In no time, the sky turns to gold
Sky and clouds smooth, with a creamy quality
It's wonderful weather to watch a sunset
Reflection of the sun shimmers on the surface of the water
So so bright... All else is left in dark silhouettes
Yes... the day is done
