Turtle Bay aka HONU COVE! Pt1 TRAVELERS JOURNAL EP#047 w/ @bambam808 & @brandybb !!
So lets go travel to this magical spot located on the west coast of the big island of HAWAII! This is actually a beach that I have not been too often, due to the fact that you cannot drive in and must hike from the highway. Now a couple mile hike isnt anything crazy normally, but it can be a little more than expected when the entire hike is across black LAVA.
With the heat radiating and bouncing it feels like walking around in an oven! But its all worth it once you get down here and see the beauty that the land has to offer.
Within minutes of arriving we had seen more turtles than one could count. Both in the water and on the various shores.
The sunsets in hawaii are so beautiful that the colors almost seem to make a rainbow! with the deep blues and the bright oranges and yellows. Stay tuned for next TRAVELERS JOURNAL! Thanks again!
