Blackberry Bush Bamboozled

Did my daily (they’ve become more a weekly trip) rounds around the farm today and discovered my blackberry bush to be cut in half at the stalk.. looks like a deer doing a rut or something.

Unfortunate for my plant but I’m sure it’ll grow back fine.. just too bad I guess. Damn deer! I hope to put a fence around some more of this property eventually to prevent this issue from occurring in the future.

The deer are in full swing, there is no doubt about that.

    Deer can be a real problem and most fences do not seem to stop them a scare crow works if you have bell on it or something else that makes a noise when you have a breeze or wind.

    Good idea.. I will incorporate some sort of scarecrow noise device in the future.
