Today's Flea Market Quail Rescue
My wife, son and I went to our local flea market today to eat real Mexican tacos, drink fresh mango juice and pick up some locally grown produce. While strolling around my son spotted a half baked flea market pet store selling quail. Their were like 20 trapped in a very small cage. He went on to convince me we should rescue one and turn him loose on our acreage which in plentiful with palmettos for coverage and other quail running around. For $6.00 it was an easy sale job for my son to close me. So here he or she is before we release it.
We have one more weekend coming before my son goes back to college. I bet a visit to the flea market again will be happening.
