Well, what can I say?
This little lens is definitely a real gem. Under good light conditions it keeps delivering unique shots.
The sharpness is obviously not its strong point, but honestly who cares about that when you get images like this? I sure don't.
In the shot bellow there's hardly anything in focus, but the overall image and the painting-ish look that it produced compensates that and much more.
If you're one of those sharpness freaks this is not for you, but if you have a more alternative and artsy approach on your photography you should definitely try it out, you will not regret it. The only complaint I have regarding this oldie is the lack of contrast, but that can be easily fixed during post production.

The previous image was captured with the lens wide open, meaning that I used the widest possible aperture (f/1.8). That helped a lot to enhance that dreamy bokeh but it also reduced the sharpness drastically.
On the next one I stopped it down to f/2, not a big difference some of you might say, but it's enough to make things a lot more crispier. Still very shallow, but already allows me to sharpen up a lot better in selected areas on the frame.
Here I focused strictly on the center of this young pine tree branch, letting everything else in the good hands of the bokeh fairies again.

I caught my wings on the spiky twigs in the first shot but rested up in the cup of fine fronds in the second one.
