Samara, it was / is: the difference is 18 years

18 years ago a visitor from the USA visited Samara. Like most tourists, she tried to capture on the photo the places she liked: carved platbands on wooden houses, merchant's mansions and street views in the historic center of the city. But for so long a lot has changed. On the site of wooden houses, brick skyscrapers are built, former castles turned into normal buildings, and part of the houses were abandoned by the owners. We tried to find all the places where the photos were taken and to repeat the pictures from the same angles. Further the selection of the photo was / became with a difference of 18 years, part one.
