Not Just Boxing - Fitness too
Just a super short post for today :) How its not just all about boxing, but other fitness regimes as well. Besides training and coaching at proper 'training camps', during those off periods when I have some free time, I do take myself to a regular gym.
Boxing is absolutely great and fun too but the body also needs to be conditioned and trained in other ways. You would need a good amount of cardio workouts, strength and conditioning and also a weight training. An ice bath every once is a while is most welcome too as it also helps with recovery, something that one should never neglect.
My workouts away from coaching and focusing on myself is made up of cardio on the thread-mil, weight training, and stretching to name a few. I believe its all about a good mix of balance between boxing, fitness and recovery.
Dzisiejszy post bedzie stosunkowo krotki i postaram sie go napisac w dwoch jezykach: polskim i angielskim.
Chcialem w nim podkreslic, ze przygotowywujac sie do walki nie powinnismy sie skupiac wylacznie na treningach stricte bokserskich. Rownie istotne jest ogolnorozwojowe i silowe przygotowanie. W przerwach pomiedzy kolejnymi obozami sportowymi warto poswiecic troche czasu aby zajrzec do typowej silowni.
Uwazam ze boks potrafi przyniesc duzo radosci i rozrywki ale nasze ciala wymagaja tego abysmy zadbali o treningi kondycyjne. Bez tzw cardio sie nie obejdzie jesli marzysz o sukcesach sportowych w ringu. Bardzo istotne jest to aby o tym pamietac.
Kapiel w zimnej wodzie raz na jakis czas jest rowniez zalecana. Efekty potrafia byc zdumiewajace a szybkosc regeneracji organizmu zadziwi niejednego z Was.
Takze warto pamietac, ze ciezko osiagnac sukces w boksie trenujac jedynie boks.
