Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater is a perfect spot to visit if you're in Denver for a short visit and want to get a taste of the mountains as well as experience a cultural landmark. The park is about 30 minutes from downtown and features spectacular rock formations which were formed about 290-296 million years ago. The amphitheater is one of the most famous outdoor venues in the world, as practically every big name in music has stopped by for a show at least once. Fun fact: The Beatles only performance at Red Rocks didn't sell out!

Love the photo!! Living in Boulder myself currently and the rocks are absolutely gorgeous. Great venue too for any artist. And that fun fact is crazy, I wonder if they were still a new band.

Boulder has some amazing rock formations itself, I want to head up Boulder Canyon very soon...

And yeah, it's hard to believe about the Beatles. The show took place in 64', so you'd think there would be plenty of fans clamoring to see them at such an incredible venue...

That’s insane, there’s got to be some reason behind it. And you should do it, always a great time!

I got to make it to Colorado before I kick the bucket

It certainly has loads of sights to see :)
