The Best Blackberries Are Always Just Outa Reach!
At least for most that don’t know how to harvest them the best blackberries are completely out of reach.
Each year the BlackBerry brambles grow back bigger and knowing this harvesters tend to trample them down to be able to get to the blackberries normally just out of reach. Simultaneously while trampling them to harvest they are also ensuring the next year‘s harvest is a lot easier as the new layer always grows up over the old and would be that much higher in the air otherwise.
Not that I’m complaining but this year they are definitely out of reach of most people except myself, I use a ladder! Not quite ready yet though, still green but they are already looking so plump 👌
