On May 9, the celebration of Victory Day was introduced by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of May 8, 1945.
It is accepted on this day to give people a day off.
On Victory Day in many cities of Russia parades are held.
Also on this day celebratory salutes.
In my country, the holiday symbol is the St. George ribbon.
The celebration of Victory Day is one of the most important holidays in Russia, the former Soviet republics and many European countries.
I want to bow low and thank the veterans!
