Voronezh is a Russian city, the center of the Voronezh region. It is located on the bank of the Voronezh reservoir of the Voronezh river. 1586 is considered to be the year of the foundation of Voronezh. The place for the city was chosen very successfully, not far from the confluence of Voronezh with the Don.

Every year, the celebration of the City Day is an occasion for summing up the results of the past period. The city authorities "compare the clock", retain the answer for the work done and talk about the prospects for the development of Voronezh and the region. No wonder this day is awarded to those who received the title of "Honorary Citizen of the City." Voronezh, like in Soviet times, along Lenin Square and along the Revolution Avenue, passes through columns with its colleagues and friends, demonstrating adherence to traditions, unity and their just and good festive mood.

The festive part of the holiday is replaced by exhibitions, fairs, bright shows, concerts of folk and professional groups. Every time a holiday can not do without some kind of peculiar raisins. At the celebration of the 425th anniversary of Voronezh, a real sensation was caused by the Lipetsk pilots, who, as part of the "Falcons of Russia" aerobatic team, demonstrated real miracles in the air. Tens of thousands of people watched the performances of the pilots without taking their eyes off.

Entertainment centers were in operation all day in the city, and the evening sky, at the end of the celebration, was decorated with a festive salute of 5110 volleys. So for the first time Voronezh celebrated the City Day as a millionaire.

Voronezh is considered the "cradle" of the Russian fleet and the homeland of the airborne assault.

For example, I really like to walk in the evenings on the embankment of the Admiralty. Here, when the first ships of the Russian fleet were launched. And Peter himself did it. In honor of this in our city there is a copy of the ship of that time - Goto Predestination. Now, of course, this ship-museum.

Voronezh has well-deserved awards. For the courage and heroism during the Great Patriotic War, my city was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War | power. Voronezh was also awarded the Order of Lenin.

There are many parks in the city, there are many green areas and recreation areas. Among the trees there are valuable species of trees, such as chestnut, oak, ash, linden, juniper and other beautiful trees.

Voronezh is the cultural capital of the Voronezh region. We have many theaters, museums, libraries, cinemas, philharmonic society, circus. Various festivals are held in the city.

Voronezh is a sports city. There are swimming pools, a sports stadium, an ice palace and many sports schools of the Olympic reserve. At the Olympiad in Rio Voronezh, there are 2 sportsmen in 2 sports: gymnastics and cycling. A representative of gymnastics Angelina Melnikova became a silver medalist in the team championship.

I really love my city, it's interesting, there is something to see, there is where to spend time, it has a wonderful history, come, you will not regret it.
