Garden of Philosophy is monument created by Hungarian sculptor Nandor Wagner, located in the park on Gellert hill above Budapest.
The center of the monument represents five figures: Abraham, Echnaton, Jesus, Buddha and Lao Tse, which symbolize different cultures and next to them are Mahatma Gandhi, Daruma Taishi and Saint Francis as a people from different times which influenced spiritual enlightenment of humankind.
The whole composition shows the development of humankind and aims for a better mutual understanding of different cultures and religions.
This monument, located in a green and quiet corner of the Budapest is the perfect place to relax after a long day.
Danas odlazimo u posetu jednom delu Budimpešte koji spada u kategoriju 'skrivenih dragulja'.
Vrt Filozofije spomenik mađarskog vajara Nandora Vagnera, smešten je u parku na brdu Gelert iznad Budimpešte.
Centralni deo spomenika čine pet figura: Abraham, Akhenaton, Isus, Buda i Laozi, koji simbolizuju različite kulture i religije, a pored njih su Mahatma Gandi, Daruma i Sveti Frensis kao ljudi iz različitih vremena koji su uticali na duhovno prosvetljenje čovečanstva.
