Hawa Mahal is a palace in Jaipur-India, was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh and was designed by Lal Chand Ustad. It has 953 small windows called Jharokhas. The original intent of the lattice design was to allow royal ladies to observe everyday life and festivals celebrated in the street below without being seen, since they had to obey the strict rules of "purdah", which forbade them from appearing in public without face coverings.

I got this new found perspective only when i started traveling around, saw a few big cities. I realized how special the place Jaipur is, and especially the old city. 300years back they had a vision of a city, such meticulously planned, filled with a number of architectural marvel.
It is the most colourful city, me and my brother have ever visited! And we practically had the place to visit since no tourists come to India in June when it's 46°C / 114°F😁
