Namibia road trip day 2
The next morning we woke up around 5 to be able to get to the next place in time to have a fun afternoon...
It is always best to leave early in the morning as you get to see the amazing sunrise and all the different animals. Sadly we mainly saw dead ones.
This was the day we actually crossed into Namibia and lucky we got to the border post early. This made life easy and we were able to get through all the paperwork and stamping in no time.
The roads are so straight... they seem to keep going forever into the distance... now you know your roads are ridiculously straight when your dirt roads never bend.
Our main stop was fish river canyon, but we stopped off at this place before just to check it out.
Once reaching our destination we decided to move on as the place was not what we had expected and kinda a huge letdown. Thus we took a relaxed lunch break under on of the only trees we saw that day.
This gave us an extra day to spend at one of the other destinations planned for the trip. Finally after many hours of driving we arrived at the next stop. Lucky people were awake so we could find accommodation at a backpackers.
