About a decade ago I decided it was time to spread my wings and leave the town and people I grew up with. It's been an awesome and exciting adventure ever since, albeit very uncertain and scary at times. I'd do it all over again though.

The photo below is the first trip I took after that life choice. I went to the Haida Gwaii with a few friends and backpacked and kayaked around some of the most pristine and secluded places left on the west coast.
