Do Flowers Speak Louder Than Words?

I would rather kiss sunshine, chase down the clouds
Eat rainbows for breakfast or other fancy things
Enjoying the freedom to wander about
Loving my life and all that it's got
There are mornings that just seem more than others. If we can take in those precious moments and embrace them, just a little bit longer. Oh, yes! What a wonderful world; what a beautiful life.
I see trees of green,
red roses too.
I see them bloom,
for me and you.
And I think to myself,
what a wonderful world.
I see skies of blue,
And clouds of white.
The bright blessed day,
The dark sacred night.
And I think to myself,

The colors of the rainbow,
So pretty in the sky.
Are also on the faces,
Of people going by,
I see friends shaking hands.
Saying, "How do you do?"
They're really saying,
"I love you".
I hear babies cry,
I watch them grow,
They'll learn much more,
Than I'll ever know.

A flower. Thee must always be a flower to color my world. This flower is dedicated to #MondayRed #ColorChallenge by @Kalemandra. Because nobody does it better.

I always post this poem down at the bottom of my posts. It is one that has become so near and dear to my heart. I only post the most famous part of it, but, wanted to post it in its entirety today.
i cried the way women on tv do
folding at the middle
like a five pound note.
i called the boy who use to love me
tried to ‘okay’ my voice
i said hello
he said warsan, what’s wrong, what’s happened?
and these are what my prayers look like;
dear god
i come from two countries
one is thirsty
the other is on fire
both need water.
i held an atlas in my lap
ran my fingers across the whole world
and whispered,
"where does it hurt?"
it answered,
"everywhere"

It's funny because I used to do a a lot of Color Splash and then for some reason I got away from it and very rarely use it but daisies are one of those things that I really love to use it. Darn it, do you have to be so sweet!? I keep on waiting for the other shoe to fall and there is none.
I really do love that song. Old Louis really Charmed me on that one. I especially like looking at his facial features when he's singing this because he is so emotionally charged with the feeling. Many thanks for the kind tip and lovely comments Denise. I'm sure flowers are appreciated even more for people who live in countries that experience long, cold winters.
Having said that, they have a lot of drawing power in Queensland too and I love the changing vistas in the gardens at different seasons of the year.
Isn't it true? There's just something redeeming about flowers and I don't care what Time of the Season it seems to be. Although, I will say that if somebody gave me a beautiful bouquet in the winter, perhaps it would mean a little bit more because the flowers are not as abundant at that time of year, but I swear to you, if I got them anytime I would be a happy person. I too love the changing Vistas from season to season. Have a most enjoyable weekend!
