Can We Go on a Drive?

A few hours before sunset I asked my dad if I could borrow his car for a little sunset photography trip. He first said that he wasn't sure if there was much diesel in it, but little did he know that I filled up the tank earlier today for this exact reason. He actually came to drive me around because he enjoys these nature drives too and we have been doing then since I was a little kid.

He knows all the good places and I can just yell STOP when ever I want to take pictures. Dad actually has a good eye to these things so he often slows down even before I tell him to. We drove around for more than two hours, dad on the lookout for animals, and I looking for nice sights to photograph. Usually we end up seeing a lot of wild game, like moose and deer, but this time we saw only some borings birds. Oh well, I don't care, I got some pretty nice nature photographs to share, even though the sunset wasn't particularly vivid.

First we went to an observation tower, in the middle of a thick spruce forest, then drove through some very rural areas, and ended up on the side of a little bog just as the sun dropped below horizon. This is only a little teaser for what is to come after I get my second cup of tea and tackle all the pictures.
