The construction of the cross and the dome

On April 2, 2019, the consecration of the cross and the erection of the dome of the temple of the new martyrs of the Rev. Sergei Rohletsov and Nikifor Yugov was held in the psychoneurological boarding school of the city of Krasavino in the Vologda region.

For a photo essay has its own criteria: you need to show the place, action, details, scale of the event, time (era), emotions. But this time I completely surrendered to my inner instinct and did everything on intuition. It is not always necessary to follow any rules. There is another point: if the instinct is trained on certain rules, it will prompt you as it should.

As most famous photographers say, you need to think before or after shooting, and not during shooting.

This action took place in the backyard of the psycho-neurological boarding school.

After the service and the consecration of the dome with a cross, all those present were also sprinkled with holy water.

Then everyone was invited to bow before the cross.

Adoration procedure was absolutely all.

And then the builders have done their job.

First, the cross was connected to the dome.

And then with the help of an ordinary truck crane, the construction was raised to the bell tower of the temple.

And then there successfully secured.

Bishop Velikoyustyuzhsky and Totemsky Tarasiy and father Vladimir with trepidation watched the action of the builders.

There is still a lot of work on interior design.

The temple was built with donations from local philanthropists and entrepreneurs who wished to remain anonymous.
