All snuggled up
Slowly hiding from the cold nights.
Until winter and snow comes and they will sleep under the blanket.
We have quiet a few apple trees in an orchard. Sometimes not all are picked on time. Sometimes they fall to the grass for the little creatures to have something to eat too. Maybe not on purpose, but we are ok with that.
Some very small ones also stay on the trees for the birds to eat over the winter time.
Autumn is so pretty. So full of calm, sleepy colours.
