Lemon tree

Few years ago, when I was still experimenting more with the plants I can grow in pots on the balcony, we got a little lemon tree. The thought of going out and just picking a little lemon in summer was stronger, so we though we will try.
The poor thing was suffering for a year on the heat, heavy winds that we get on the second floor, harsh rains that were bashing the leaves against the wall. It didn't even bloom and the leaves weren't growing nicely.

Until we decided to move it to the countryside and plant it in a soil near big cork trees that would give it a bit of shadow for a part of the day. It was one good decision!
And it finally looks like a little tree. The very next year it started to bloom, even though it was still small. Few tiny lemons showed up.. but that was just a start. It is growing nicely and every year has more and more lemons :)

The flowers are adorable, creamy and not very big.
See the little tree? It is about my height now and growing fast.
I can call it a happy ending I guess.
