Little wild rose

With a single layer or petals they are not as showy as the big, fancy ones. But they do have their own charm. On those big bushes that no one cares for they grow and bloom protected by million of tiny, nasty thorns.

I actually always liked them. They were more common even in gardens in white or light pink colour when I was a kiddo (ages ago!). They just need some pruning from time to time, otherwise they will spread and take over the whole space.

I also know a spot where they grow on the side of a path between fields. The pink type. They are so pretty and and in the evening the bush is filled with small birds looking for a place to crash.
