Urbex: NorthBridge Light trails from the rooftops

There are certain viewpoints you just can't get to easily in Edinburgh, and this is one of them. It is the rooftop of an office building (microsoft and amazon) in Edinburgh that is manned 24hrs with security and there is just no way to sneak past.

Unless you have a friend that's temping in the building for a couple weeks. So I had an in past security, and she escorted me to the rooftop to get these shots. Not really urbex I admit.. but its the best you can do unless you have some crazy commando/spiderman/climbing skills to call on. I don't.

So here.. enjoy a view of the city of Edinburgh, Scotland in a way not even most locals can. What you are looking at is the North bridge which connects the old town with the new town, the building on the left is the Calton Hotel, the one on the right is the Scotsman hotel.

Fun fact: There was a Russian couple once that stayed at the Scotsman hotel, took cyanide pills in an apparent double suicide. It was downright shakespearean. Though there's a theory that it was another Russian spy assassination.
