A Movie Theater, MEGABOX

This is a movie theater in Korea. You can see the name of the theater, Megabox. It is one of the largest franchises in Korea. You can find one easily if you visit Korea.

When I was young, there were not many movie theaters. During the weekends or holidays, there were always long lines of people waiting to buy tickets in front of the box office. Now, it is totally different. You don't have to buy a print ticket. Just make a reservation with your phone and it is done.

Movie experience becomes very accessible to most of the people in Korea. Just driving about 5 minutes to the theater and watch. The price is not bad, either. In Korea, the movie ticket is about 10 dollars. If you want 3D or 4DX, you need to pay more, but it never gets to 20 dollars.

I really like going to the movies. It is a time in another possible world, which gives me a short break from the real world. Sometimes, the real-world experiences are not satisfying to most of us. But sitting in a chair in the theater, I can have a short escape of reality.

These days, there are not many movies appealing to me. So, I just watch Netflex at home, which is super convenient. But whenever good movies come out, I will definitely be the first one to watch them at the theater.
