Red Roses, Symbol of Love and Passion

Happy and blessed day for all, today I want to start the week with these photographs, of majestic red roses. I tell you, roses are my favorite flowers, not only because they are extremely beautiful, achieving in us the effect of allowing us to evoke, romantic feelings, of passion, love, friendship, or purity, but also, they are part of my essence, since I have the luck, that my maternal surname is ROSES, so, as you will understand, I am a rose by family inheritance.

Some time ago, after a little research, I found out that roses, depending on the color they have, convey a different meaning, in particular the red roses, which thanks to their incredible color and beauty, are perhaps the best known and most popular world level, associating them mainly with love and passion. I also discovered that there are many myths and theories that exist around these beautiful flowers, one of them is the story told by an emperor named Claudius II, because he had the firm idea that if young people did not have Family ties were easier to get ready in his army, decided to enact a law that forbade young warriors to marry. That is why a Roman priest named Valentin, who was a fervent defender of love and marriage, secretly married the young couples who came to him in search of his help. The Emperor Claudius, when he found out, imprisoned and condemned to death, which we know today as Valentine's Day in Rome.

The legend also tells that Valentin while awaiting his sentence, learned that the judge who had imprisoned him had a blind daughter, news that caused great sadness and pain, so through his prayers I implore God, to return the sight of the young woman. On February 14, the day Valentine was transferred for execution, he managed to deliver a letter to the judge's daughter and asked her to read it, a request that the young woman could not understand, given her visual limitations, however she opened it, and To his surprise when he opened it, he recovered his vision and could see what was written on it and it was simply "Tu Valentín". After that, in honor of the priest who had returned the vision, the young woman decided to plant a rosebush of red flowers.

Now, you should always remember, that red roses should not be given to relatives or friends as they could send a confusing message. By symbolizing love and passion, red roses are reserved for the couple or person who occupies our heart.
