Being On The Tallest Skyscraper In Latin America - Sky Costanera
So this was my first time on a skyscraper that I can remember
and I gotta admit that when I first approached the windows, I looked straight down and even with the glass there I felt a knot in my stomach.
This 300 meters (Almost a 1,000 feet!) skyscraper is in Santiago, and it is known to be the tallest skyscraper in all of Latin America.
It is 64 stories high... (Probably why I felt that knot in my stomach) Plus it has 6 basement floors.
Apologies for the slightly blurry photos, it was dark and I was taking them with my phone.
This is what it looked like at the very very top. There is no roof, just railing. They had put up some nifty blue lights so that people could actually see where they walking because there were not any lights!
I do suggest a jacket though, it is a wee bit chilly.
Something I like about Santiago city is that it is fully surrounded by mountains. A little too smoggy to live there in my opinion, but when it clears up, I like to visit and see it.

I commend you for going all the way up there. Now imagine how the people felt who actually build these huge buildings! How awesome must they have been?
I thought about that the whole time... how must have the guys that built it felt. Haha

I actually think that the builders did not feel too bad about it. It must have been a gradual process of adaption because they started at ground level and worked themselves up until the highest point slowly but surely.

I felt a knot in my stomach just reading how high it is! lol I have a crazy fear of heights. Yet I've done height-y things. Still. My palms are actually literally sweaty thinking about it (why do I always tell you how gross I am??? You're probably like, thank GOD I can't smell this girl lol).

Random question but... are those jeans from Colombia? Or do they sell Colombian jeans in Chile? Because those totally look like Colombian jeans to me aka they look amazing on you.
Colombian jeans are the best. It's like a 2 for one deal. You get pants AND a booty haha.
