Phitsanulok to Bangkok by train. Part one.

in #photography6 years ago

Pictures from my train trip Phitsanulok to Bangkok. They were taken on a moving train and some might be a little blurry due to movement. These were taken with the Canon EOS M10, a lovely beginners mirrorless (digital) camera for €275. The train was moving about 50 kilometres an hour and the trip took about 8 hours to complete, in the meantime I took about 600 pictures and some videos. I paid for the ticket 269 baht €6,75. These pictures were my favourites I will blog them in parts.

THE BEGINNING OF THE TRIP

The north of Thailand is pretty flooded and I made this trip before in the hot season. Now it was the rainy season and everything was underwater that used to be land. It was pretty interesting, to look how Thai people deal with the tons of water coming from the air. The beauty about the rainy season is that nature is alive, there is green everywhere. In the hot season everything is almost dead.

nice one ...but...but what about the train? how does it look like from the inside? was there a possibility to buy food? was it clean there? c'mon brah :)

Inside I did not make any pictures, sometimes I respect people their privacy and rest. Had a chance to film two girls fighting in Thailand, but didn't cause it could ruin their lives when put online. Also a motorcycle accident where a man died, I'm not to be a journalist paparazzi guy. I respect other people their lives and space too and don't wanna benefit on their negative or bad days.

Had a kid next to me sleeping and didn't wanna disturb sleepers, me jumping around the train with my camera.

Thanks everybody, I'm making the same post in Thai written by my girlfriend.

amazing post. I love seeing photos from other countries. Thailand is a country I would dearly love to visit. Keep up with the great posts! Followed!

You should, you really should. You won't regret it.

Very nice photos. The one with diggers looks like could be here in Germany :)

The diggers look very European. Import from China or Japan could be. I think Japan, they make quality motors and machines.

I made a right klick and "view image in new tab" to see it fullscreen. The diggers are made from Volvo. I only know passenger cars from Volvo. They make very good cars. Volvo comes from Sweden, in the north of Europe.

Thanks for posting the wonderful pics @ geckothailand. Really appreciated!
