Feeder Ship Süderoog / Feederschiff Süderoog
During my walk last Sunday I also saw some ships. Opposite Heikendorf and Mönkeberg is the entrance to the Kiel Canal, where there is always a lot of activity.
As the Süderoog just leaves the canal towards Scandinavia, it is bathed in beautiful golden colours by the setting sun. This is a multi-purpose container freighter which can be loaded with a maximum of 1400 empty containers (1400 TEU) or has 39,195 m² of space in the hold.
Bei meinem Spaziergang am vergangenen Sonntag habe ich auch einige Schiffe gesehen. Gegenüber von Heikendorf und Mönkeberg befindet sich die Einfahrt zum Nord-Ostsee-Kanal, wo immer rege Begängnis ist.
Als die Süderoog gerade den Kanal Richtung Skandinavien verlässt, wird sie von der untergehenden Sonne in wunderschöne goldene Farben getaucht. Es handelt sich hierbei um einen Mehrzweck-Containerfrachter, welcher mit maximal 1400 leeren Containern (1400 TEU) beladen werden kann bzw. im Laderaum 39.195 m² Platz hat.

Ja, das stimmt leider. Ich war beruflich sehr eingespannt in den letzten Wochen. Da fehlte dann für hier einfach die Zeit und die Motivation. Ich war mehr oder weniger stille Mitleserin... Aber jetzt habe ich wieder mehr Zeit und dann gibts wieder öfter was von mir zu sehen :D
