Swinemünde / Świnoujście

On my holiday I rode my bike from Bansin to Swinemünde to photograph the famous mill beacon at sunset. It is a landmark of Swinemünde/Świnoujścies and is located on the west pier built between 1818 and 1823. The nautical sign was built in 1874, the wings turned in the beginning, so the flashing beacon was produced. It is a lighthouse, even if it looks more like a windmill. Unfortunately there were still many visitors there at sunset, so that one can still see a few ghost tracks on the picture.
In meinem Urlaub bin ich mit dem Fahrrad von Bansin nach Swinemünde gefahren um die bekannte Mühlenbake beim Sonnenuntergang zu fotografieren. Sie ist ein Wahrzeichen von Swinemünde/Świnoujścies und befindet sich auf der von 1818 bis 1823 erbauten Westmole. Das Seezeichen wurde 1874 erbaut, die Flügel drehten sich anfänglich noch, so wurde das blinkende Leuchtfeuer erzeugt. Es handelt sich um einen Leuchtturm, auch wenn es eher wie eine Windmühle aussieht. Leider waren zum Sonnenuntergang noch zahlreiche Besucher dort, sodass man noch ein paar Geisterspuren auf dem Bild sehen kann.
