Unique Facts The coin which is the world's most expensive gold coin was first made in 1907. At that time, US President Theodore Roosevelt wanted his country to have coins that were as beautiful as the ancient Greeks and Romans.

The most expensive coins are called Double Eagle, a kind of gold coins sold very expensive. A piece of gold coins sold in an auction at the Sotheby auction house for US $ 7.59 million or Rp68 billion.

Common coins or coins are used as a means of economic transactions and are usually issued by the government. Usually coins are round but this is not always the case.
