Selected Portraits from my recent travels
I like to take candid portraits when I'm out and about - it works well - when people aren't expecting a camera to be shoved in their face, it's even better. Sometimes, their reaction to the camera makes the portrait even better.
These are some of my favorite shots of the people I met, interacted with, and otherwise encountered while on my recent trip.
There's that damn chicken again! Two blokes who met for the first time in their life - and didn't realise that they went to the same school, at the same time, a few years apart, until after about twenty minutes of conversation.

Bouncing around time, my favourite act is photographing those who don't expect, or see it coming, at all. This beard is pretty fantastic:
And this taken, moments before tragedy:
The tragedy was not documented, but how is the serenity?
Finally, the classic photographer photographing a photographer:
Shots taken on a Nikon D7000.
