Everyday Life - Thoughts and a Photo - Downtown Drama
Our character requires improvement and discipline, such as our creations. Creations are the fact showing off creators who care to keep discipline without focusing on this. These creations could be qualified as artistic.
The real Artist should be able to expound philosophical classic concepts and analyze various disconnected realities. Everyday life is a great source of inspiration for a disciplined artist who examines the most irregular stimulations with clear view and purpose. Everyday life in the society's collective scale is composed of each subjective perception of reality. For an Artist, the observation of these subjective realities is a good tool for composing.
Everyday life is an Art also. If you want to liberate yourself from what you consider as an oppressing environment, you should introduce Art in your everyday life. For this it is helpful to possess knowledge without pretentious show-off. Real Artists don't intend to attract notice or to impress. Their creations are their identity and their everyday life is their atelier.
This photo was taken in February 2019 in Athens downtown. It's visual proof of decadence, one more victim of the total indifference which is the essential ingredient of the so-called modern lifestyle... This spot used to be a trendy clothing store. Nowadays is just a dirty, ugly and dangerous masse of ruins. And of course, street artists tried to paint the ruins, an ultimate act of destruction...
It's a rainy and not that warm day in Athens, so the mood is adapted. Grey and blur, everything around is going back to the Autumn, this is the impression today... Hopefully, it's the last wave of this hard winter, as you understand I'm looking forward to seeing at least the real Spring!

The street artist did his best to improve the aesthetics of the place, we need not to blame him as such.
The place was once a commercial nerve center, perhaps law of diminishing return also applies to places. Human beings get tired of almost every thing, even beauty and serenity.
