Sunny Enlightenment / Sonnige Erleuchtung

in #photography5 years ago

I had beautiful cloudless weather during my last hike on the snowy Dobratsch.

It was late afternoon and part of the path was already in the shade. In this photo, the sun had just disappeared behind the hill, illuminating the single tree from behind.

Thank you very much, @pixresteemer :)

I always liked the silhouettes of trees against the background of a short horizon. Subconsciously, a person wants to see the edge of the world, in each, somewhere deep, lives a pirate-pioneer)) he does not really believe that he walks on the surface of a spherical planetoid with atmosphere)) Somewhere, there must be an edge! This tree gives us a label that we would not accelerate very much, the edge is already close.

It's hard for me to say which option I like more, they are both great!

... thank you @barski :)))
Actually, the edge was behind me - three meters behind me was a chasm ;)

howdy sir johannpiber! I don't know sir, this looks like another lucky shot by sheer coincidence! haha, but you have to have a good eye to recognize a lucky shot so good job sir! Love both of them but they both look a little chilly!

Thank you @janton.
Yes, this was kind of a lucky shot - I was hiking up the mountain and then looked to the left up the hill where I saw this tree in front of the shine of the sun and photographed it :)))

What can I say than just absolutely amazing, although looks on first sight as minimalistic photo, still this is wonderful examples of abundance. I'm delighted. So powerful! Well done my friend! :)

Thank you very much for this nice comment, @biti, and yes, minimalistic fits to this photo :)

Both in color and B&&W that is an amazing Image Love silhouettes like this

Good morning and thank you so much, @tattoodjay. Did you get your new lens?

Yes it arrived yesterday real nice only took one test shot as I got home late but hope to try it out this weekend

Fine @tattoodjay, we might see some nice macros then in a few days. I am looking forward to it.

I am looking forward to it as well,I was going to bring it with me to work today but witht he freezing temps and ice and a lot of meetings I knew I would not have time ot use it so I have to patiently wait for the weekend

Yes, take your time during the weekend and show us some nice pictures :)

I will do my Best :)
I did one test shot just to see how narrow the focus is at 2.8 of a lens cap Bad light and a terrible shot but i like how tight it is

That looks promising - I am really curious on the photos now, because I have never had a Sony camera - always Canon or Olympus.

Oh! This is a surprising photo! This tree is so brave, all alone and waiting for spring to arrive.
Tree and solitude!

Good morning, @kaminchan, and thank you for this comment. I think the tree will have to wait another few weeks until the snow goes and spring will arrive there on the mountain. If I don't forget I will try to post the same photo again, but without snow ... if I can find the spot with this tree again ;)

Oh! That would be a nice photo for comparing the difference in seasons.

Yes, @kaminchan, I agree - this would really be an interesting comparison. Hopefully I don't forget to do it.

Well captured. It's simple, yet elegant. The sunlight makes the tree look angelic or as if some angel is coming from behind the tree.

Thank you very much for this nice comment, @himalayannomad. I had the same thoughts and wanted to name the photo nimbus or gloriole, but then I decided for enlightened :)

Wow beautiful photograph my friend...

Thank you very much, @tussar11 :)
