The lonesome Swan / Der einsame Schwan
Today was not a day to take photos for me because it rained most of the time, and it was not very spring-like. So I studied my new camera a bit at home and just did not do anything for an afternoon. |
The lonesome Swan / Der einsame Schwan

Full frame and maximum focal length of 105 mm with the lens (RF 24-105mm f / 4 L IS USM) - for such shots, I will in the future, the EF-S 18-135mm use, because with the S-lenses the crop factor of 1.6 should apply again. Then I can zoom in closer ;) | Vollformat und maximal 105 mm Brennweite beim Objektiv (RF 24-105mm f / 4 L IS USM) - für solche Aufnahmen werde ich hinkünftig das EF-S 18-135mm verwenden, weil bei den S-Objektiven der Crop-Faktor von 1,6 wieder gelten soll. Dann kann ich näher ranzoomen ;) |

Thank you so much @pixresteemer :)
Beautiful photos of the swan @Johannpiber
Thank you @siggjo, I'm pleased that you like the photos :)
These are shots of a great and successful hunter, my dear friend @Johannpiber. As the players say - the match will take place in any weather! This beautiful swan is evidence of this. It is interesting to watch such a large bird. If he is alone, without a pair, he is still an inexperienced chick, he is interested in everything, he does not know what danger is. You, and your camera, did a great job!
Hey my friend, you are right, this swan was really curious and swam beside me when I was walking, and he (or she) came closer than the other swans do.
The last photo is very funny! I hope you did ask the swan her permission to take very private posture photo! She could sue you in the international birds’ court!

Thank you again, @kaminchan. Of course, I have a signed model release, but I think I should have posted the image as NSFW ;)
Is that swan tried to snorkeling on the last image? haha funny image
It always looks that funny, when the swans dive to find some food under the water - when 4 or even more are doing this at the same time, then it's even more funny :)))
You just planted 0.11 tree(s)!

Such cool shots the last one gave me a little bit of a chuckle, the rain may have forced you to stay in but studied you new camera was most likely very productive
Yeah, it looks funny, when they dive their head under water, searching for food :)
The canon cameras all have the same menu, so it is easyer to learn. This one has quite a few functions more than my M50 and the camera handling is a bit different, but I think after a few hundred shots I will be able to use the camera without thinking or searching too much ;)
I am sure you will know it inside out soon
When I get a new camera I usually sit on the train just playing with settings for a few days to get it all burnt into my brain
Yes, it will take some time, but since I shoot landscapes most of the time I will not need many functions, although I want to know all that I can do with this thing ;)
Yes Indeed even though you know what you need for landscapes its good to know of all its capabilities Incase ever neededLike I shoot RAWPretty much all the time I did learn all the setting related to JPG Incase I ever decide to use it for an event or for whatever reason
Yes, of course, I want to learn all functions ... and where to find them :)
I also shoot RAW :)
For Landscapes RAW is a must I think
I also shoot a lot of HDR hence why I am so far behind in editing, with some nice mornings i have been out walking and shooting, and n
Evenings have been busy so haven’t edited any photos since last Friday, now if it rains a couple of days I don’t mind I have close to 700 Photos to go through
That's completely right.
I have also some images in my archives, which I haven't edited yet, and I could use, but far away from 700 - there are maybe 50 quite good ones ;)
Wow, absolutely amazing photograph of the swan.
I really like this pictures.
Thank you for this nice comment, my friend @tussar11 :)
